Growing up in rural Jamaica, my love for science led me to study pharmacology, but my true passion was always cooking. After migrating in 2019 and turning my love for food into a side hustle during the pandemic, I worked tirelessly to build my dream, now proudly sharing the vibrant flavors of Jamaica with my community.

I love coming to Fya Syde Kitchen. They always deliver when it comes to the food and the service is always excellent. This is by far the most authentic Jamaican cuisine I have had around the Madison area. It’s definitely worth the trip here!
The other night we met friends at the Fya Syde Kitchen for dinner. It was a great time with fantastic food. We started out with some appetizers; Cheese Curds, Truffle Fries, Onion Rings and Jerk Chicken Skewers. All over the top, great tasting, done just right. The Jerk Chicken Skewers were so good, one of us ended up ordering a couple for dinner. The fish tacos were great, as was the Tomato Bisque. I had the Reggae Salmon that the sweet tangy sauce added a lot to the Jerk Grilled Salmon. We all were impressed with the food, the drinks and service. We will be back.
My friend and I loved this new Jamaican restaurant! The service was personal and friendly. We loved the nice modern space and the jerk chicken was spiced right and moist. I also loved the steamed cabbage and carrot. My friend got the chicken wrap and she really liked it too. We opted to share the oxtail Birria tacos and this was fantastic! Highly recommend this place! Don’t run but walk here soon!
